Airport Advisory Committee Seeks Nominations

The County of San Diego’s Board of Supervisors is seeking nominations for appointment to the Palomar Airport Advisory Committee for a term ending Jan. 2, 2023. The deadline to apply is noon on March 6.

On Jan. 9, 2019 the County Board of Supervisors adopted an amendment to the County’s Administrative Code regarding membership and selection of the San Diego County Palomar Airport Advisory Committee. The amendment added a provision that the cities of Carlsbad, Oceanside, San Marcos and Vista each identify one resident from their city as a candidate for the Fifth Supervisorial District to consider for nomination to the Board of Supervisors for appointment to the Palomar Airport Advisory Committee.

Carlsbad residents interested in being nominated for the position must submit an application to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, BCC Desk, 1600 Pacific Highway, Room 402, San Diego, CA 92101 or at bcc@sdcounty.ca.gov

no later than noon on Wednesday, March 6.

The Carlsbad City Council will consider applications and nominate one resident and one alternate at their regular meeting scheduled for Tuesday, March 26 at 6 p.m.
