City of Vista Hosts Pit Stop for Bike To Work Day

The City of Vista is hosting a pit stop at the Vista Civic Center on May 17 for Bike to Work Day. Bike commuters can refuel with healthy snacks and water at the pit stops and learn about bike safety. Residents are encouraged to join the City of Vista and thousands of people throughout the San Diego region to “GO by BIKE” on Bike to Work Day – Thursday, May 17. The City’s pit stop will be open from 6 am to 9 am and 4 pm to 6 pm and t-shirts are available while supplies last. Free give-a-ways and a chance to win a free bike from Vista business and sponsor, HARO Bikes are part of the City’s Bike to Work pit stop entertainment.

Bike to Work day supports biking as a viable, environmentally friendly, cost saving commute choice.

Register for Bike to Work Day 2018. When you register for Bike to Work Day, you can stop by one of 100 pit stop locations (pit stops in San Diego County map) throughout the San Diego region on May 17 from 6 – 9 a.m. to pick up a FREE t-shirt*, snacks, and encouragement. *You must register online to be eligible for a free t-shirt.
