Feeding the Soul Foundation, a non-profit organization that highlights the talent of local musicians to promote local foundations and businesses, is hosting an October Freshan O’side Outside Harvest Fest celebration on Saturday, October 20th at Goat Hill Park from 2 p.m. to sunset. San Diegians are invited to enjoy the musical stylings of local musicians, delicious food and drinks and local vendors. The concert will benefit O’side Kitchen Collaborative, a non-profit collaboration program dedicated to supporting zero waste food efforts in Oceanside.

“There’s no better way to celebrate fall than outside with the sun shining and music filling your ears, listening to great talent,” said Vallie Gilley, Feeding the Soul’s Founder and Executive Director. “We are so excited to host this community musical event and share our new collaboration, O’side Kitchen. This new program supports zero waste by sourcing surplus and “ugly” fruits and vegetables directly from local growers and provides full service conscience catering, creatively delicious preserved products and community zero waste culinary education with this food.”

October Fresh will be at Goat Hill Park and will feature music by Shane Hall, Billy Galewood, Untitled & Hllndr. There’s something for everyone to enjoy including a dog costume contest, carved pumpkin contest, mini mercado farmers market & fall carnival games.
