Fight Fake News at Escondido Public Library!

Escondido, CA – Escondido Public Library offers special programming for adults during the month of May. All events are free, open to the public, and held in the Library’s Turrentine Room unless otherwise noted.

Escondido Public Library invites the community to Fight Fake News on Saturday, May 19, 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Fake news is more than a label; it’s a problem that journalists must confront to gain the trust of their audience. Moderator Tom Jones, consumer/investigative producer for NBC 7, will talk with panelists about this growing phenomena and answer audience questions.
