The City of Carlsbad will host Hire Heroes USA for a veteran employment workshop on Tuesday, March 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the city’s Faraday Center, located at 1635 Faraday Avenue. Transitioning military members, veterans and military spouses are invited to expand their professional network and enhance job search skills.
Registration is free and first come, first served.View the schedule for the day and register online.
The event will include an employer panel discussion, resume writing, career coaching, networking tips and more. Attendees are asked to bring laptops as well as evaluation reports, FITREPS, NCOERs or OERs, awards, orders and previous resumes.
