North County Water Symposium and Supplier Fair
The San Diego North EDC is sponsoring a water symposium and supplier fair on October 10th from 7:30 to 10:30 at the California Center for the Arts Escondido. They currently have 7 North County water districts, SDCWA, and Met all agreeing to staff tables to allow you to interface with contracting officers at those agencies, learn about upcoming work and understanding any specifics in their bidding process you need to know. During the breakfast itself, SDCWA will be giving an update on preparations for increasing water reliability, the state has been asked down to give an update on the California Water Fix and there will be a panel presentation on the new water conservation standards and how various north County Agencies and the industries they serve are thinking about its implementation.
