Palomar Airport News from Carlsbad’s Citizens for a Friendly Airport

C4fa needs your help. We’ve raised 75% of our legal fees to challenge the County’s Plans to expand Palomar Airport. The County’s plan is simply a bad plan all around, created using bad data and in bad faith. It has become apparent that the County simply wants to offload air traffic from San Diego International Airport to Palomar, regardless of the impact to the communities that surround it. C4fa has filed a very strong, well-researched lawsuit against the County to protect the residents of North County — to protect our quality of life, our health, and our environment.

The County has lost time and again on its planning. We are not alone. After its third environmental legal defeat, including tow lost Appellate Court rulings, the County of San Diego, for the THIRD time, is appealing the latest ruling against it. It appears the County will not back down but will try to financially bleed its opponents to death. We expect the same treatment. We, too, will not back down. This is our home.
