On 7/19/18 at 3:15 PM, Oceanside Police officers were dispatched to 3342 E. Tropicana Dr. in regards to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a 19 year old male victim suffering from a single gunshot wound to his upper torso. The victim was later flown to the hospital in stable condition. We currently do not have a suspect description however the suspect was seen fleeing in a white 4 door sedan (possible Honda). The vehicle was last seen westbound on E. Tropicana Drive. Detectives are currently on scene conducting the investigative follow up to this incident.
