Ciao has recently finalized construction on their expansion from 3,000 to 12,000 sq. ft. The warm and welcoming authentic Italian restaurant is now an impressive plaza with an unbeatable offering of traditional Italian dishes and multiple dining atmospheres. New offerings include wood-fired pizza, a wide selection of wine in the Enoteca, house made gelato, Italian pastries, imported and house made deli items, and a large banquet hall for private events. Ciao is the best place in North County for those who want to experience true Italian hospitality and culture.

The new wood-fired pizza oven reaches over 800°F, perfect for cooking Napolitano style pizza in just a few minutes. Guests can watch their pizza cooking from the wine bar while sipping boutique wine. Boutique wines are unique in style and limited in production. In fact, 90% of the wines served at Ciao cannot be found in stores.

To satisfy a sweet tooth, visit the new gelato shop to choose from 28 house made flavors! While cherry swirl is the most popular, there is even a vegan friendly flavor. Another new dessert option is the Italian bakery, which offers 18 pastries freshly made by Ciao’s baker from Rome. Popular bakery desserts are sfogliatelle, millefoglie and fruit tarts that feature locally grown strawberries.

For private parties and celebrations, the elegant banquet hall is for events of up to 270 people. Private dining options include plated five-course meals and buffets. Rumor has it that with the days getting warmer, Ciao will soon open their outdoor dining patios. Ciao, owned by the Di Giovanni family, is a casual yet refined restaurant in Vista, CA that features delectable Italian cuisine. Serving North County residents for more than two decades, Ciao prides itself on embodying the Trattoria tradition. This means friendly, home-town service, a traditional Italian atmosphere, and a menu made to order with only the freshest ingredients.
