Classical Academy Online seniors Scott Pittsford and Kaiulani Gonzales took home 1st and 3rd place in The FutureBoss entrepreneurship competition.

Futureboss is a free project-based student entrepreneurial training and business plan competition. It teaches students to develop ethical business values while providing a channel to help entrepreneurs start a business.

The competition was held on Monday, April 16, 2018, at the University of San Diego and began with over 600 applicants countywide. Thirty-three applicants were accepted to finals, and 25 graduated from the program. Students were evaluated on extra-curricular activities, leadership roles, small business experience, an essay and video contest, and evidence of entrepreneurial spirit and initiative.
