Fun activities for children and families: Live music, GrowGetters plants, pottery, and delicious food on Sat., April 27 from 10am to 3pm.

Explore and create:

Make recycled art with Renata—Handle worms and compost—Fashion wearable wreaths—Paint “Earth Day Rocks!”—Mandala project with Kathy

Play in the fun-filled Children’s Garden—Go on a scavenger hunt—Squeeze lemons for your own fresh lemonade—Sound the instruments—Climb the playground!

Enjoy art and music— Experience our nine Ricardo Breceda sculptures, starting with the slithering Serpent by Ricardo Breceda, dedicated to our children—Listen to delightful music by Vic Moraga on guitar. Californian Vic Moraga is an award winning songwriter, skilled vocalist, talented guitarist, and storyteller. His music has been described as “a delicate mixture of Latin fused jazz, blues, and country, proving Moraga’s ability to meld all the best together to create very powerful and moving music”

There will be variety show by Kids College performers—Drum circle with the Steins

Take Home—Our Plant and Pottery Sale includes natives, flowers, veggies, rare plants, and gardening advice – Check out our Garden Shop filled with crafts, snacks, plants, and treats for all. Vendors will offer environmentally friendly information as well as tasty treats, jewelry, home décor, and home care solutions.

Tasty Bar-B-Que for a cause—Take a break and buy a fresh BBQ lunch and beverages from Amigos de Vista Lions.
