Join the Carlsbad City Library, in partnership with San Diego OASIS, a non-profit that promotes healthy lifestyles, for the first three talks of its Good Life Lecture Series, a six-part health and wellness series.

October’s lectures will be led by Dr. Philip Goscienski, former head of the pediatric infectious diseases branch at the Naval Regional Medical Center in San Diego and former clinical professor of pediatrics at the UCSD School of Medicine.

Come and hear about the latest research from the Dutch, the French Paradox, the Italian Connection, and some of the science behind the health benefits of wine and chocolate.
