First Licensed Cannabis Dispensary under Measure Z opens VIDEO

The City of Vista implemented Measure Z. Tuesday January 22, 2019 the first step to licensing was conducted at the Vista Civic Center in the Morris Vance Room. There were very strict procedures in the process. Each applicant had to have 2 cashiers checks made out to the City of Vista. A $100,000 check was needed for the deposit and the 2nd check for $9,368 was needed for the filing fee. The applicant also had to show a lease agreement and address diagrams for their store front location. 32 applications were received. Eleven qualified to receive a license. The first license was issued to Flora Verde.
