The Foundry Artist Studios at New Village Arts will host an Opening Reception for their June Group Exhibition titled TAKE 5 on Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at 2787 State Street in Carlsbad Village. This all artist group show will be the results of a creative challenge to produce a work of art that includes five items: a FORK, a FISH, a HOUSE, a HIBISCUS and a SPOOL OF THREAD. The artists may incorporate other items into their art, but may not eliminate any of the five random objects. We are excited to present their creative and unique works of original art based on this artistic challenge at the reception. Please join us to meet the artists and enjoy refreshments, live music and a hands-on rock painting project. The TAKE 5 group exhibition will run at The Foundry Artist Studios from June 27 to July 21, 2019.
