The Oceanside Friends of the Arts(OFOA) is proud to announce the availability of scholarship grants for local Oceanside students interested in pursuing art through their college curriculum. OFOA is the producer of First Friday Art Walk and proceeds from those events support the arts related activities for the Oceanside community including scholarships.

OFOA has a strong commitment to give back to Oceanside youth through scholarships and grants. “Last year OFOA gave out two $500 Scholarships and we are excited to be able to do the same gift again this year. We see this as a way to keep Oceanside as a leading California cultural destination of the arts for our residents and out of town visitors as we offer local artists a place to show and sell their artwork, hear and play music and to explore the creative side of life, says Kathleen Ossiander, OFOA VP of Grants and Scholarships.
