Residential Fire – Escondido

On October 7, 2019 at approximately 6:19 P.M., Deputies from the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department responded to a radio call to assist the Escondido Fire Department with a residential fire in the 2600 Block of Summit Drive in the Unincorporated area of Escondido. The fire was contained to one of the two structures at the location and no one was injured. Escondido Fire Department advised the cause appeared to be related to an electrical box and no foul play was suspected. The American Red Cross responded to assist the residents living at the location.
