Join us on Saturday, September 15th from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM for the 34th Annual I Love A Clean San Diego Coastal Cleanup Day as we clean up and beautify over 100 sites throughout San Diego County! At last year’s efforts, with a turnout of 6,686 volunteers at 105 coastal and inland cleanup sites, volunteers successfully removed 128,168 pounds of litter from San Diego County. Join us this year and be a part of this international event!
To register for the Carlsbad Village site, visit www.CleanupDay.org. Click on “Zone 1: North County – Coastal” and look for “Carlsbad – Carlsbad Village Street Sweep.” All ages and abilities are welcome! Come for just a bit or stay the entire time. Every contribution makes a difference. Supplies will be provided, or bring your own reusable supplies for a chance to win special prizes. (Ideas: Reusable water bottle, washable work gloves, bucket for collecting trash). Volunteers will meet on the lawn behind the Engel & Völkers Carlsbad office located at 2956 Roosevelt Street.
