Voter Registration Deadline Approaching

Escondido City Clerk Diane Halverson reminds residents that Monday, May 21 is the last day to register to vote in the California Gubernatorial Primary Election to be held June 5, 2018.

If you have recently moved or changed your name since the last election, you must complete a new registration form no later than midnight, Monday, May 21. To check your voter registration status, please visit www.sdvote.com

You may register online at www.sdvote.com or at the San Diego County Registrar of Voters. Registration cards are also available at the City Clerk’s Office during regular business hours. Escondido City Hall is open Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
If you vote by mail, the Registrar of Voters encourages you to vote and return your ballot promptly through the mail. If you choose to vote at your assigned polling place, bring your mail ballot with you to give to the poll workers. If you do not, you will be asked to vote provisionally.
